I’ve only been privy to Vindicator’s existence for about a year now. But that hasn’t stopped me from using these four lads from Ohio as my own personal thrash time machine! “Next stop, 1986!”
Vindicator has crafted an album that surpasses most of what their old school counterparts are producing today. Hell, even some of the albums they made in the goddamn 80’s! Seriously! I’ll take The Antique Witcheries over Beautiful Disaster, Spreading The Disease, The New Order or Ride The Lightning any day!
Every second of The Antique Witcheries feels vintage! From the blazing thrash riffs that spout off from every track to the classic feel of the vocals to the beer fueled zombies that lurk within the walls of each song! If you fancy yourself a fan of thrash even in the most miniscule of ways, The Antique Witcheries is an album that you CANNOT let slip by!
Overall: Easily the best thrash album I’ve heard all year! Pick it up and thrash your soul to pieces!
