Kill The Client – Set For Extinction

Kill The Client? Then how do you expect to get paid?
…yeah. Anyway, Set For Extinction is what happens when Kill The Client spends the majority of their recording days eating Cheetos and peyote buttons while listening to Total Fucking Destruction and Stalag: complete and total chaos in the form of disorganized, nihilistic grindcore!
The pace of this record is one of the fastest I’ve ever listened to! It’s completely out of the park in terms of albums that sound like a bench clearing brawl in the middle of Aunty Emma’s Antique Shoppe, completely with a small nuclear device!
But all hyperbole aside, this album does get way the hell up there on the crazy charts, yet it manages to keep cool and not fall apart and/or get really fucking boring as most albums of it’s ilk seem to do. Set For Extinction maintains a most enjoyable level of grindibility throughout it’s nineteen tracks with a massive variation between songs… aside from the velocity, of course!
Overall: While grind isn’t exactly my favorite genre, it’s slowing gaining ground thanks to albums like Set For Extinction.
