Agael is one man, making black metal for a limited set of people. The man creates soundscapes more than punishing ear shredding riff fests of blackened hate, but the hate is here too. Slow, dirgy guitars with birds chirping over top, lyrics in German and English about nature, wizards, and more – basically, many of the hallmarks of black metal, but not full of cliches and definitely not boring.
