German pagan metal heroes EQUILIBRIUM just issued the following statement regarding the rumors having split with their singer & drummer:

Unfortunately we have to tell you that EQUILIBRIUM, singer Helge and drummer Manu have parted ways due to personal reasons. There is no bad blood between us and we wish them the best of luck for all future endeavours. We shared some really special moments on stage. Nevertheless this will in now (sic) way effect the music of EQUILIBRIUM. The songs will still be written and composed by René Berthiaume. At the moment we are at the Helion Studios in Munich recording our third album which is planned to be released in June. As of now we can tell you that it will be heavy, epic, bombastic, emiotional and full of musical surprises! All schleduled shows will take place as announced. As soon as we got news regarding new members we will let you know at once! Stay tuned!

Personally, I think this sucks a little.

Enemy Reign will perform in Cheyenne, Wyoming at The Atlas Theatre supporting Deadspeak on February 26, 2010. In April, the band will appear on the 2010 edition of the Neurotic Deathfest featuring Bolt Thrower, Carcass, Dying Fetus, Insision, Lock Up, Napalm Death and Origin (among many others), followed by a tour throughout Europe. Confirmed dates thus far include:

The band will release Means To A Dead End in Europe through Neurotic Records on April 5th. The EP was recorded by Dave Otero at Flatline Audio (Cephalic Carnage, Martriden, Cobalt et al) in 2008 and, until now, self-distributed through the ENEMY REIGN online webstore. The European version will contain one newly recorded exclusive bonus track entitled “If The Truth Hurts…Suffer,” as well as exclusive art work and other bonus materials.
