Artwork From Mike Hrubovcak/Visual Darkness Used In Upcoming Hollywood Movie
Dream House is a Universal Pictures/Morgan Creek feature film starring Daniel Craig (The Golden Compass, Casino Royale [2006]) and Naomi Watts (King Kong, The Ring) and directed by Jim Sheridan (In America, The Boxer). It’s a psychological, supernatural thriller that is currently in production and slated for a 2011 release.
The film will be using an assortment of death metal poster artwork from MONSTROSITY vocalist and metal illustrator Mike Hrubovcak of Visualdarkness.Com as background set dressing for a location in the film. There is a young metal couple that share an apartment together and have death metal posters covering their walls. Among Hrubovcak’s artwork that will be used in the film are designs for the bands Decrepit Birth, Sinister, Braindrill, Rumpelstiltskin Grinder, Abraxas, Aurora Borealis, Tenderizer, Polterchrist, Azure Emote, and many others.
